Cold Weather in the Mountains -Packing Guide

With temperatures dropping, especially in the higher elevations you’ll need to pack your suitcase accordingly for mountain cold weather in order to stay warm.

Layered Clothing for playing;

  • thermals/undergarments

  • fleece lined leggings

  • denim jeans

  • wool socks or other quick-drying material

  • winter jacket

  • fleece jacket

  • sweater

  • snow pants

  • beanie (or other warm hat)

  • gloves/mittens

  • winter boots/waterproof hiking boots

  • cozy loungeware

For your car (Just in case);

  • large warm blanket

  • water

  • shovel

  • chains

  • portable cell phone charger

  • snacks

  • keep your gas tank full



 

accessories (odds and ends);

  • sleds

  • skies

  • hiking poles

  • sunscreen

  • sunglasses

  • water bottle

  • lip balm

  • extra shoes
